35th Annual Anglesea Art House Exhibition 2021

There are two forms for 2021. There is one entry form for 2D artworks and another form for 3D artworks.

The first form below is for 2D artworks and the form after that (scroll down and keep going) is for 3D artworks.

Please select “submit” once you have completed your entry/entries.

If it does not submit once you have tried to do so it will be because you have not filled out essential information as identified by a red *. Please review the information you have entered, fill out any areas that you missed, only have numbers where numbers are requested (no words or symbols) and press “submit”.

After you have submitted the form you will see a message referring to PayPal. This message can be ignored as it is automated. We are waiting for our PayPal to be finalised wherein we will be able to offer direct payment during the form process.

ENTRY FORM FOR PAINTINGS AND 2D ART

Members are invited to submit paintings, print works and photographs for display and sale at our Annual Art House Exhibition.

ENTRANT TERMS

Entrants must have been financial members of the Anglesea Art House prior to 1st April 2021. Please indicate on the entry form whether you have ever won a prize or an award as there will be a Maiden Handicap Award. ORIGINALITY: All artworks MUST be the artist’s original work, not copies of other artists’ work or done at workshops or in breach of copyright.   Framed and hanging entries must not have been previously exhibited in an AAH Exhibition. By completing the entry form, the entrant agrees to the conditions of entry applicable to the Anglesea Art House Exhibition 2021.

ENTRY FEE

A non-refundable entry fee of $7.00 per framed artwork and $5.00 per unframed artwork must accompany the entry form.  20% Commission will be charged on each sale. ALL work must be for sale. All entries on stretched canvas will be treated as a ‘framed’ artwork with the appropriate entry fee and suitable hooks and wires (these artworks will not be hung in the “unframed” section.

EXHIBITS

Name of artist, title and price of exhibit must be clearly written on the BACK of each artwork. Secure it with tape or or use a sticky label. The public viewing label is provided for you. Exhibitors may submit up to 5 framed artworks and 8 unframed artworks. Care will be taken with exhibits but no liability will be accepted for loss or damage to exhibits. Exhibitors are advised to insure their work. No work submitted may have a length of any side of the artwork that exceeds 1.2 metres including the frame. Artworks entered as unframed will not be hung.  It is your responsibility to retain a list of items you are exhibiting.

PAYMENT FOR ART SOLD

Payment for items sold, less 20% commission, will be made by direct credit to your nominated bank account. The Art House does not collect GST.  This is your responsibility if you are GST registered.

DELIVERY OF 2D ARTWORKS

Artworks will be received at the McMillan Street Hall, Anglesea, between 1:00 pm and 3:00 pm on Thursday 10 June and between 10:00 am and 11:30 am on Friday 11 June. 

PRIZES

Prize winners will be announced at the official opening on Friday 11 June 2021 at 7:00 pm and we encourage you to attend this function. The Peoples’ Choice award for 2D artwork will be announced at 3:00 pm on Monday 14 June 2021.

CLOSING DATE

Friday 7 May 2021.   No late entries will be accepted.

COLLECTION OF UNSOLD WORKS

All works must be collected between 3:30 pm – 4:00 pm on Monday 14 June and all members are asked to remain and help clean up.  The hall will be closed at 5:00 pm so artworks must be collected prior to this. Please do not bring bags for artworks into the hall before 3:30 pm.

3D art includes ceramics, textiles, glass and jewellery.

EXHIBITION INFORMATION

Members are invited to submit 3D artworks for display and sale at our Annual Anglesea Art House Exhibition.  3D art includes ceramics, textiles and glass. Entrants must have been financial members of the Anglesea Art House prior to 1st April 2021. ORIGINALITY: All artworks MUST be the artist’s original work; not copies of other artists’ work or done at workshops or breach copyright. By completing the entry form the entrant agrees to the conditions of entry applicable to the Anglesea Art House Exhibition 2021. ENTRY FEE: A non-refundable entry fee of $7.00 per artwork must accompany the entry form.  20% Commission will be charged on each sale. ALL work must be for sale.

EXHIBITS

Name of artist, title and price of exhibit must be clearly displayed with each item, on the back, as this is not the label the public sees. Secure it with tape or or use a sticky label. The public viewing label is provided for you. Exhibitors may submit up to 2 artworks. To ensure your 3D artwork fits on the display plinth it MUST have a base no larger than 300mm x 300mm. Care will be taken with exhibits but NO liability will be accepted for loss or damage to exhibits. Exhibitors are advised to insure their work. The committee reserves the right to reject any work deemed unsuitable for this exhibition or which breach the conditions of entry.

EXHIBITION INFORMATION FOR TABLE BOOKINGS

TABLE BOOKINGS: One trestle table per entrant will be allocated. There will be a non-refundable entry fee of $20 and there will be a 20% commission fee charged on each sale. ALLOCATION AND SET UP OF TABLES: Tables will be allocated to exhibitors prior to the day and a floor plan will be displayed so you will know which is your table.  Please indicate that you require a table on the form below.

DELIVERY OF ART

Come to the hall at 11.30 am on Friday 11 June to help set up prior to bringing art work inside.  Deliver art between 11.30 am and 2.00 pm to the hall. Please be available for pack up at 3.30 pm on Monday 14 June.
