This class is suitable for all standards.
The aim of the class is to give you the skills required to produce a painting that you can be proud of.
To achieve this you will learn about what to paint on, colour mixing, composition, tonal ranges, brush techniques, mediums and how to infuse mood into your work.
Several subjects will be included to hone your skills.
We will begin the term learning about canvas, boards, and what can actually be painted on and what to use as a ground.
We will cover the use of mediums and how to use them.
Keeping the range of colours to the minimum we will learn how to mix the correct colour you want, so colour theory will be included here.
Composition will be well covered so that you will have a centre of interest.
Brushes, palette knives and their uses will also be covered.
